Wargames Atlantic - Quar Toulmore Rhyflers

“Deep within, I am a kit of the mountains of Skar and a son of Tok, but no quar on Alwyd move my spirit as the Toulmorese do. There are no quar who understand the Crusade’s meaning as deeply - bone deeply - as those irascible, lovable quar. Before even Tok unified behind the Cause, the Toulmorese embraced it. The Liberation of Toulmore was the very first campaign of the Crusade, inspired entirely by the cries of the Toulmorese. Here were a people whose homeland was carved into pieces by outsiders over generations, its wealth carted away and its people dragooned into the armies of distant tyrants, where they fought no less bravely when their masters were feckless. The Principles were, to my mind, merely an observation of the motives and behaviors of the First Families. But the Toulmorese read that text and they knew at once what grim business lay ahead, and they set to it with that fierce joy, that indomitable spirit, that prickly forthrightness that defines their character.”
