Gallan's Villa

Gallan's Villa

On the sun-baked edges of the empire, beyond the noise of the forum and the dust of the marching legions, estates like Gallan’s Villa quietly fed Rome’s ambition.

Vines creep across its timber trellis. Shutters hang half-open against the heat. Within its cool plastered walls, oil jars are stacked, ledgers are kept, and secrets are whispered. Farmers, merchants, tax collectors — and sometimes less lawful visitors — pass through its courtyard.

But such villas are more than homes. They are symbols of wealth and stability in uncertain lands. Control the villa, and you control the harvest. Control the harvest, and you control the coin. And where coin gathers… so too do opportunists.

Whether standing as a prosperous estate house, a provincial administrator’s residence, or a contested prize on the frontier, Gallan’s Villa brings character and narrative weight to any tabletop.

A typical rural farmhouse found in many Roman regions. removable roof and trellis for a practical centrepiece on your battlefields.

Ideal for use in games set throughout the middle to modern history, and across the Mediterranean
