Painted up the timber A-frames first—they really pop with a dark wash and bring the village to life. The longhouse fits together cleanly and looks solid on the table, perfect for skirmish games.

The longhouse and A-frames fit together with zero fuss, and the wood grain texture makes it look properly weathered straight out of the box. My Viking warband finally has a village worth defending, and the roof sits flush enough that I don't have to fiddle with it mid-game.

The timber A-frames slide into their slots with a satisfying click, and I've got the whole village set up in under ten minutes. My raiding party finally has a proper home base for our saga scenarios.
