The stacked apartment blocks have that grimy, lived-in Roman feel, and the fire-scarred sections around the lower floors really sell the danger. I’m using it as a centerpiece for my Subura board and the height gives it proper presence without needing extra support.

The MDF is sturdy enough that the balcony details won't snap off during transport, and the battered wall textures look great on the table. I used it as a centerpiece for a street scene and it immediately added that crowded Roman feel.

I was honestly surprised by how well the MDF captures the worn, crumbling texture of an ancient Roman tenement. The details around the ground-floor shop fronts and upper windows really bring the Subura to life for my tabletop.
