Torii Gate 2

Assembling this Torii Gate 2 model was surprisingly relaxing; the wood has a pleasant, natural scent, and I love how the interlocking pieces create a satisfying click as they snap together.

I was nervous the pieces wouldn’t line up, but every slot clicked together perfectly—even the delicate top beam. The wood grain has a nice, natural look that makes it feel more authentic than I expected for a laser-cut kit.

The fit is surprisingly snug, so the gate stands steady on its own even without glue. The engraved lines on the crossbeam really capture that transition from earthly to divine, which is why I bought it for my shrine-inspired shelf.
