It arrived flat-packed and needed a bit of sanding, but the laser-cut pieces fit together perfectly along the hull. I painted mine a weathered white and it really pops on the harbour table for a 1930s pulp game.

I usually struggle with MDF kits, but the tab-and-slot construction on this speed boat made it a breeze to assemble; the cabin roof fits snugly with just a dab of glue. It adds a perfect focal point for my pulp harbor table, and the unpainted surface takes wash and drybrush beautifully.

Assembling this little boat was a fun afternoon project, and the MDF pieces fit together so well that I didn't need much sanding at all. It's now sitting on my harbour table ready for a chase scene, and it really brings the quayside to life.
