I was pleasantly surprised by how well the MDF pieces fit together, requiring almost no sanding. The variety of storefront options in this kit makes it perfect for creating a realistic city block.

The signage panels are clearly molded, and the blank walls give me plenty of room to add my own decals. I’ve already finished one as a corner liquor store for my post-apocalyptic table.

The shelf depth is just right for cramming in boxes and bottles without them falling over, and the MDF takes paint really well for that grimy storefront look. Took an afternoon to assemble two of these for my post-apoc table and they instantly make the scene feel lived-in.
