I’m not usually one for kits, but the unassembled pieces fit so snugly I didn’t even need glue on half the joints. The instructions were clear enough that I had the flatbed finished in one evening, and the MDF has a nice heft to it that should take paint well.

I like that the frame uses real wood slats instead of plastic—gives it that worn-in Victorian feel. The assembly was straightforward with the included instructions, and now it fits right into my cobblestone street scene.

The flatbed cart kit went together smoothly over an evening and the MDF has a nice, clean laser-cut edge. I'm happy with how the wooden bed and small wheels bring the period feel to life.
