The thatched roofs are what sold me—they’re molded with real texture that takes paint beautifully, and the wattle and daub walls look convincing enough to pass for a proper Dark Age homestead. My warband’s village finally feels lived-in, not like a hollow shell.

The wattle and daub walls give it a proper lived-in feel, and the thatched roof sits snug without any warping. I’ve got it placed as a chieftain’s hall in my Dark Age village, and it’s got that sturdy, sheltering presence you’d want for a whole family.

The thatched roofs sit perfectly on the walls, and the whole thing reads as a proper Dark Age homestead straight out of a saga. I’ve already got two in my village and they’re the centerpiece of every skirmish.
