The hull slots together with satisfying precision—no sanding needed, which is rare for laser-cut kits. Painted it up in about an hour and it fits perfectly on my canal section.

The waterline is nicely detailed for MDF, and the hull slots together without any warping. I’ve already started thinking about how to paint the cabin for a more weathered look. It’s a solid piece that adds real character to the table.

Cuts cleanly with a sharp blade and paints up nicely—the pre-cut barge shape is surprisingly crisp for the price. I used it for a school diorama on canal history and it held its structure after a coat of acrylic.
