I play a lot of historical wargames where base sizes matter, and these MDF trays are a neat workaround for putting smaller 25mm based figures into a 30mm footprint. The 5x2 configuration in the pictures is exactly what I use, centering my infantry nicely without any wobble.

Needed to rebase my old Warhammer fantasy regiments onto larger 30mm fronts and these trays did the job perfectly, the MDF is sturdy and the figures slot in firmly. Sliding a whole unit onto the table during movement feels so much cleaner now, definitely worth it for anyone converting older armies.

The 30mm slots are cut precisely enough that my skirmish line stays perfectly aligned on the movement tray. Even with a 5x2 setup, there’s just enough room to slide them in without any wobble.
