I needed a tray that would hold my cavalry models securely during movement, and the fact that the base and frame are separate pieces makes assembly a breeze. They fit my 25x50mm bases perfectly with no wobbling.

The 1/4 inch frame sits flush enough that my cavalry bases slide in without any wobble, which is exactly what I wanted for tournament play. Assembling the upper frame to the base took a couple minutes with wood glue, but the fit was precise and it’s held up through three games already.

Finally, a tray that keeps my heavy 25x50mm cavalry bases stable during movement—the MDF frame and base combination feels solid and well-constructed. I opted for the standard height, and the 1/4-inch border holds them securely without any wobble.
