I needed a tray with precise 1/2" spacing for my 50x75mm cavalry bases, and these cutouts hold them perfectly steady. The two-layer MDF design feels sturdy and keeps movement during skirmish games smooth.

The MDF frame sits flush with the base edges, so my cavalry rank up cleanly without any wobble during movement. I chose the lower frame height to match my 3mm bases, and the 12.7mm spacing gives each model just enough breathing room on the tray.

The half-inch spacing between cutouts is exactly what my 50x75mm cavalry needed to rank up properly without being fiddly. The upper frame and lower base combo feels sturdy and holds the miniatures securely during gameplay.
