I was a bit worried about the MDF being too thin, but the 1/4-inch border on the upper frame is actually sturdy and holds my cavalry models perfectly. The two-piece design with the separate base makes it easy to magnetize underneath, which is a huge plus for transport.

The frame fits snugly around my 25mm cavalry bases with just enough clearance for easy movement. I opted for the taller frame height and the tray feels solid during gameplay.
