The MDF pieces fit together perfectly with no gaps, and the frame height I chose matches my 25mm bases exactly. My entire unit slots in securely and ranks up cleanly on the tabletop.

The MDF frame and base fit together snugly, and the 5x5 layout keeps my round-based units perfectly ranked in formation. Took a few minutes to glue the frame to the base, but once it's set, the tray feels solid and handles nicely.
