I was a bit worried about the fit for my 25mm cavalry bases, but the cutouts are precise and they slot in perfectly without any wobble. The 6.35mm border gives just enough space to handle the tray without touching the models.

The 1/4" border on the frame keeps the 25x50mm bases snug without any wobble, which is exactly what I needed for rank-and-file cavalry. Assembly took me about ten minutes with wood glue, and the lower base sits flush on the table so the unit moves as one solid block.

Sized the cavalry models up against the 25x50mm slots before gluing, and the MDF frame’s 6.35mm lip holds them snug without any wobble. The two-piece construction fits together cleanly, so the whole unit stays flat on the table. Exactly what my ranked-up riders needed.
