The frame snapped into place on my first try, and the 1/4" trim keeps the whole tray rigid even when I’m moving a full unit mid-game. The cutouts hold 25x50mm bases snugly without any wobble, so my cavalry stays aligned through charges.

The spacing between the cutouts is spot on for my 25x50mm cavalry, and the MDF frame sits flush enough that the whole tray feels solid mid-game. Finishing a unit is way faster now, and the 1/2" gaps keep the bases from scraping each other when I move them as a block.

The 1/4" trim around the edges is exactly what I needed, it keeps my cavalry bases snug without any wobble during movement. Cutouts are spaced just right, so the unit looks properly ranked up but still has that skirmish feel. Perfect for my 25x50mm bases.
