I was worried about the MDF thickness being flimsy, but the 1/4 inch border frame feels solid and hasn’t warped after painting. The tray fits my 25mm minis perfectly, and the separate base makes magnetizing a breeze.

The magnets are strong enough to keep my rank-and-file models secure during transport, and the 12x4 slots fit my 25mm bases perfectly with no wiggle room. Assembly was straightforward with just a bit of wood glue, and the frame height gives the tray a nice, finished look on the tabletop.

I was worried the MDF might feel flimsy, but the frame and base snap together snugly and hold my 25mm models without any wobble. The 1/4-inch border looks clean on the tabletop too.
