Took a gamble on these for my skirmish warbands, and the 1/2" spacing between cutouts is perfect to prevent bases from touching and causing issues during movement. The MDF is nice and rigid, holding everything securely without being too heavy.

I needed a way to speed up unit movement in my wargames, and this MDF tray does the job perfectly—the frame holds my 20mm bases snugly without wobbling. The 12.7mm spacing between cutouts keeps everything neatly aligned, which is a huge timesaver during games.

The cutouts are spaced exactly 1/2" apart, so my 20mm bases line up perfectly without any fiddly measuring. The MDF frame and base feel sturdy enough for repeated tabletop use, and the lower base keeps everything flat during gameplay.
