I needed a way to keep my 50mm base units from sliding around mid-game, and the recessed cutouts on this MDF tray lock them in perfectly. Even with the upper frame, the setup feels solid and the 1/2" spacing keeps everything organized without feeling cramped.

The cutouts are perfectly spaced—those 1/2" gaps between each 50mm base make grabbing figures quick without any accidental nudging. I opted for the taller frame to fit my deeper bases, and it holds everything snugly during transport.

I needed a tray that would keep my miniatures stable during travel, and the 1/2" spacing between cutouts is just right for easy grabbing. The MDF feels sturdy without being too heavy, and the separate frame and base make it simple to swap heights if I change my base thickness later.
