This set contains:

  • 1 Sohei Oshō metal miniature
  • 1 Recruitment card
  • 2 Skill cards

A fearsome addition for any Sohei Warrior Monk or Ikko Ikki force, the Sohei Oshō is a senior priest who leads your devout followers in battle as well as in prayer.

At the start of each game he choses between the Prayer of Guidance or the Prayer of Inspiration. The first boosts the Oshō himself in combat (wielding his razor-sharp naginata), while the second bolsters a nearby follower. The chosen prayer can be recited up to three times to generate a massive bonus on the next attack!

Miniature supplied unpainted and unassembled.

Richard ★★★★★

I've been looking for a senior priest model with actual presence, and the intricate folds on the robes make this one stand out. It fits perfectly alongside my other warrior monks. The recruitment card was a nice bonus for organizing army lists.

Adam ★★★★★

The detail on the staff and robes is sharp enough that the priest’s presence really lands on the tabletop, and the two skill cards add some nice tactical flexibility for leading a monk force. Assembly was straightforward with minimal flash to clean up. It’s a solid centerpiece that fits right in wit

Brian ★★★★★

The metal miniature has incredible weight and detail, especially the flowing robes and staff. It fits perfectly with my other monk models and the skill cards add nice tactical options.
