Category: MDF terrain

Recreate the historic clash between Zulu warriors and the vastly outnumbered British army, hastily dug in at Rorke's Drift.

Situated between the steep slopes of Shiyane Hill, the mission at Rorke's Drift was an important part of the British supply line that ran from Durban through Natal. It was comprised of two key buildings, a hospital and a storehouse. Our Rorke's Drift set comprises both these buildings as well as our Colonial Wagon with Ammo crates set. We have also included enough scourer pads to create thatched roofing for both buildings.

Supplied unassembled and unpainted in kit form with full instructions.

Any models or accessories shown are for scale purposes only and are not included.

Scarlett ★★★★★

The chunky MDF walls go together without glue thanks to the tab-and-slot engineering, saving me a mess. I’m impressed by the included details like the sandbags and palisade fence—they really sell the mission station look. It’s a solid build that makes those desperate defense scenarios pop on the tab

Daniel ★★★★★

The 15mm scale really captures the feel of the narrow mission station; the wall sections have that rough-hewn look that matches the historical photos. I was surprised how well the scatter terrain fits around the buildings for setting up the defense.

Alexander ★★★★★

I was genuinely impressed with how crisp the MDF cuts are — the corner joints fit together almost perfectly without any sanding. It’s a solid kit for recreating that historic defense, and the mission building really captures the cramped feel of the original.
