Category: laser-cut wooden scale model

Fortress towns were a common sight during the Sengoku period, each with an impressive castle at its centre. Constructed mostly from wood and stone, these imposing structures not only served as a residence for feudal lords and their families but also as the centre of local government and a display of martial prowess.

Our Japanese castle is not an exact replica of an existing castle or one that existed, instead we have taken inspiration from the standard designs of the period and incorporated features that can still be seen today creating a focal point for your games that seamlessly fits with our extensive range of 28mm Japanese buildings.

Supplied unassembled and unpainted in kit form with full instructions.

Any models or accessories shown are for scale purposes only and are not included.

Eva ★★★★★

The fit of the wooden panels is tight enough that the whole structure feels solid even before any glue dries, which was a pleasant surprise. I spent a quiet evening assembling the main tower and the stone base, and the Sengoku-era design really comes to life once the layers stack up.

Thomas K. ★★★★★

The laser-cut joints are so precise that the wooden walls and stone base stack almost like the real thing, no glue mess to worry about. I spent a quiet afternoon assembling it and the Sengoku-era silhouette looks fantastic on my shelf.

Abigail K. ★★★★★

The laser-cut wooden pieces fit together so precisely that the stone base and main tower felt solid after just a few minutes of assembly. I’ve built a lot of scale models, and the way the wood grain mimics timber framing is easily the best part.
