I was worried about the fit for my 40x40mm bases, but they sit perfectly in the frame with no wobble. The MDF feels sturdy enough for tournament transport, and I like having the option to choose the frame height.

The 1/4" frame border gives just enough lip to keep my 40mm bases snug without making them a pain to pop back out. The MDF top and base fit together cleanly, and assembly took me maybe five minutes with wood glue. Exactly what I needed for organizing my unit ranks.

Finally, a movement tray that actually fits my 40mm bases snugly without wobbling. The MDF frame is sturdy and the 1/4-inch border gives just enough lip to hold them securely during transport.
