The lower base sits flush with the table, so my units slide into place without tipping or wobbling mid-game. Assembly took about ten minutes with a bit of wood glue, and the 6.35mm frame border keeps even my oddly painted edge bases snug.

The MDF frame and base fit together snugly with no wobble, and the 1/4" border is just right for gripping minis without hiding their bases. I ordered the taller frame option and my 25mm units sit perfectly flush. Took about five minutes to dry-fit everything and it's been solid through three games s

The MDF frame and base went together perfectly, with a snug fit that holds my 25mm minis securely. I ordered the taller frame height and it gives them just the right amount of protection during movement.
