The 1/4" frame border is spot on—minis sit snug without wobbling, and the MDF layers fit together cleanly with zero sanding needed. Took me ten minutes to glue and it’s already holding a full unit on the table.

It’s exactly the right height for my 20mm skeleton horde to slot in without wobbling, and the two-piece MDF frame and base glued up square in a minute flat. The 6.35mm border gives them a clean, uniform look once the unit’s painted.

The 1/4" frame border feels sturdy enough to hold my 20mm skirmish figures during a rough transport, and the two-piece MDF design makes assembly straightforward. I opted for the taller frame option, and my minis sit securely without wobbling. Perfect size for a full unit.
