I was worried the 1/4" frame border might be too thick for my skirmish units, but it actually gives the tray a nice solid feel without crowding the models. The separate base plate is a smart touch, making it easy to swap out damaged sections.

The laser-cut MDF fits together cleanly, and the 1/4" frame border holds my 20mm models perfectly without any wobble. I ordered the raised base option and it adds just the right amount of presence on the table.

The 1/4" frame border sits snug around my 20mm bases with zero wobble, and the two-piece MDF design makes swapping minis mid-game a breeze. Assembly took maybe two minutes with glue, and it's held up through three sessions so far.
