The 1/2" spacing between the cutouts lines up perfectly with my cavalry bases. The MDF frame has a nice, solid feel without being overly heavy. This will make moving my unit during games much faster.

I was worried about getting the wrong height for my deep-based knights, but the 3/4" option worked perfectly. The MDF is sturdy enough to hold the cavalry during transport, and the cutouts keep everything spaced just right.

I needed a solution for keeping my heavy monstrous cavalry stable on the tabletop, and the choice of upper frame height was perfect for my deeper bases. The whole tray feels solid, and the 12.7mm spacing gives each model enough room without looking sloppy.
