I was worried about the spacing for my ranked units, but the 1/2 inch gaps between each cutout are absolutely perfect. The MDF frame has a nice, solid feel to it and the bases lock in securely without being too tight.

The MDF frame fits my 20x20mm bases perfectly, and the 1/4" trim keeps the whole unit feeling solid even when I'm shuffling it around mid-game. Assembly was straightforward and the lower base holds everything snug without any wobble.

The 1/2" spacing between cutouts keeps my 20mm-based minis perfectly aligned without crowding. I chose the taller frame for my deep bases, and everything fits snugly without wobbling. This tray has sped up my deployment and packed movement turns significantly.
