The two-piece MDF construction means the upper frame and base lock together snugly, so my 25mm models stay put even when I tip the tray to grab a unit. Assembly took maybe two minutes with a little glue, and the 6.35mm border gives my horde a clean, finished look on the table.

The 1/4 inch frame on each side keeps my units snug without any wobble, and the MDF layers glue together cleanly for a solid tray. Took about five minutes to assemble, which was quicker than I expected for a 12-slot setup.

The two-part MDF design holds my 25mm bases snugly without any wobble during transport. I appreciate that the frame height keeps miniatures stable even when I tip the tray slightly.
