I was a bit worried the magnets wouldn't hold, but they're actually quite strong, keeping my 30mm infantry locked in place during transport. The 1/4-inch border gives just enough lip to feel secure without looking bulky on the table. A solid upgrade from my old cardboard solution.

The frame fits so snugly over the bases that nothing shifts when I move the unit across the table, and the 1/4-inch border gives it a clean, finished look. My whole unit feels solid and ready for a full game day.

The 1/4" border is just right—my minis slide in snugly without rocking, and the MDF feels sturdy enough for repeated use. Assembling it took me less than five minutes with wood glue.
