Took a while to decide between the frame heights, but the 1/4" border is perfect for gripping the bases without rattling. The two-piece MDF construction fits together snugly, so no gaping or wobble once assembled.

The 1/4" border on each side gives these trays a nice, chunky feel that keeps the minis snug without any wobble. I grabbed the taller frame option and the whole unit locks together firmly, making rank-and-file movement during games a breeze.

The MDF frame and base fit together perfectly with no sanding needed, and the 1/4 inch border keeps my 20mm bases snug without rocking. Took me under five minutes to assemble all eleven slots, which is a win in my book.
