Atakebune (28mm)

I love that this kit lets you build a Sengoku-era floating fortress—the massive hull panels give it a real sense of scale on the tabletop. The MDF is laser-cut cleanly, so the gunports and deck details came out crisp with minimal sanding. Only wish the box included some rigging or mast options, but

The deck layout really captures that floating fortress feel—plenty of room to stage archers or a boarding party. Assembly took a bit of patience but the fit was snug and the finished hull looks properly imposing on the table.

The laser-cut MDF slots together perfectly, and the sheer size of this 28mm fortress-boat makes it an immediate centerpiece for any Sengoku-period game. I was pleasantly surprised by how much detail the deck planking has.
