The crane boom lifts and rotates smoothly, just like you'd expect from the real thing. It fits perfectly on my layout's siding for loading scenery details.

I was impressed by the level of detail on the MDF — the rivets around the cab look fantastic. Assembly was straightforward, and it fits perfectly into my goods yard scene.

The rotating boom and the little hook mechanism are surprisingly sturdy for MDF—I’ve already used it to stage a breakdown scene on my layout, and the vintage 1890s look fits perfectly next to my other rolling stock. It’s a solid little piece that adds real character without feeling flimsy.
