Was a bit worried about fit, but these slots lock the 20mm bases in tight. The 5x2 configuration lines up perfectly for my unit, no wobble at all.

They finally sit perfectly centered in the 25mm footprint instead of wobbling around, and the MDF edges are smooth enough that figures don't chip when you slide them in. I've got them set up in the 5x2 layout and the extra alignment makes rank-and-file movement feel way more deliberate.

The little lip on the tray keeps every 20mm figure perfectly centered, so my units finally line up flush on the table instead of looking crooked. It's a simple fix but it does exactly what it says, and the MDF feels sturdy enough for regular games.
