I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the 2mm MDF feels once assembled, and the laser-etched panel lines give it a realistic look straight out of the box.

The laser-cut pieces fit together perfectly with no gaps, and the 2mm MDF hull feels sturdy enough for tabletop use. It was a straightforward build that took me an evening to assemble.

The etched wood grain on the hull really sells the look once it’s painted, and the 2mm MDF sections are solid enough to survive gaming table knocks. I assembled it over an evening with just glue and a hobby knife, and the fit was so clean I barely needed to sand anything.
