The MDF panels fit together with satisfying precision; I didn't need any sanding to get the seams flush. It's a nice little model that captures the blocky, functional look of a wartime airfield building.

Painting the tiny control room windows was fiddly, but once assembled the tower looks exactly like the historical photos I've seen. It’s a solid centerpiece for a Fliegerhorst diorama.
