The lower frame locks onto my 50mm round bases perfectly with no wobble, making ranked movement a breeze. I opted for the lower frame height to keep my models at a natural elevation, and the MDF feels sturdy enough for regular gameplay.

I've been using this MDF conversion tray to base my round-stand miniatures for rank-and-file units and the pre-cut 50mm slots keep them perfectly aligned without sliding around. The two-piece upper frame and base setup is much sturdier than the simple single-slot trays I've tried before.

The frame height options made it really easy to get a perfect fit for my 50mm round bases. Slides together snugly and holds the squad in formation during movement.
