30mm Round Block Paved Base Pack

I was worried the texture wouldn't show up well in 2mm MDF, but the three-dimensional effect from the block paved design is surprisingly good once painted. The greyboard bottom gives them a nice, solid feel for their size.

The paving detail is surprisingly crisp for MDF, and the dual-layer base gives them a nice heft without being too bulky. They took acrylic paint perfectly with no bleeding into the grooves.

The two-layer construction (MDF on greyboard) feels surprisingly sturdy for the price. The block paving pattern is crisp and deep enough to catch a wash nicely. Just what I needed for a quick urban basing project.
