Checkpoint & Barrier Set

The cobblestone texture on the road sections is incredibly fine for the scale, and once assembled it really anchors the table. I’ve already used mine to stage a vehicle search scene, and it looks perfectly in character for a late-war setting. Well worth the effort of painting.

Assembly took about an hour with white glue, and the barrier arm actually swivels once built. I’m using it for a Stalingrad diorama and the scale fits perfectly with 1/72 figures. A few tiny splinters while sanding, but the detail on the checkpoint signs is surprisingly crisp for this price.

The laser-cut pieces pop out cleanly and the instructions make assembly straightforward, even for someone with shaky hands like me. Once built and painted, the barriers and checkpoint booth give the table that occupied-Europe feel instantly.
