WWI Delivery Lorry

The wood grain on the MDF panels looks surprisingly realistic once you add a wash, and the open bed is perfect for stacking supply crates. This little lorry really captures the improvised feel of early-war transport. I'm already planning a second one for a convoy diorama.

Painted up one of these lorries in a civilian green, and the crisp MDF detail around the cab and cargo bed really makes it stand out on the table. It adds that perfect bit of everyday chaos to a trench scene.

The open bed is cut precisely enough that the side panels slot together without any warping, which is rare for MDF terrain. I've got it painted in a civilian livery and it fits right in with the rest of my early-war table.
