Deciding between the 02 Hundred Hours Dice Set and the Operation Torchlight Expansion? Compare costs, contents, and value to find the right buy.
Quick Answer
If you already own the 02 Hundred Hours Starter Set, the Operation Torchlight Expansion is the better value, adding new models and 24 unique cards. Only pick up the Dice Set if you find yourself constantly reaching across the board for extra dice.
What Each Option Adds to Your Game
The 02 Hundred Hours Dice Set is a simple accessory: four white and four grey dice, designed to match the game's theme. It doesn't add new rules or models—it just gives you more dice so you can stop borrowing from your opponent or stretching across the table.
The Operation Torchlight Expansion is a content expansion. It brings new models and 24 unique cards, including options to field Royal Marine Commandos. This directly changes your available forces and strategic choices, making it a more substantial addition to your collection.
Cost and Value: A Clear Trade-Off
At $5.44 (compared to $8.00), the Dice Set is a low-cost convenience item. It solves a practical annoyance but doesn't expand gameplay. The Expansion, at $28.98 (compared to $46.00), costs more upfront but delivers significantly more content per dollar if you play regularly.
If your budget is tight, the Dice Set is the cheaper impulse buy. But if you're looking to grow your 02 Hundred Hours experience, the Expansion offers far more replay value and new tactical options.
