WWI Open Lorry

The lorry's original livery details are painted crisp enough to make it look like it drove straight off a 1914 street. I used it as a centerpiece for a trench supply line diorama, and the wood paneling on the flatbed feels properly weathered straight out of the box.

I was really impressed by how clean the road wheel hubs came out after assembly—makes it feel like a real period vehicle. The MDF layers fit snugly, no warping, and it painted up nicely in a few hours. Perfect for a quick Great War diorama piece.

The open bed is the standout detail—it’s deep enough to look properly utilitarian, and the MDF cuts cleanly along the plank lines so assembly takes under an hour. I’ve got it parked next to a trench section and the plain civilian livery fits the early-war feel perfectly.
