Small Shop 1 - 40mm

I’ve been adding these 40mm shops to my western table, and the way the separate roof and façade pieces let me rearrange the front is really handy for variety. The MDF cuts cleanly with no burnt edges, so painting up the storefront took no time at all.

The way the MDF slots together without glue was a nice surprise, and it painted up quickly to look like a convincing frontier dry goods store. I’ve already got another one on my workbench for the saloon next door.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much character this little storefront adds to my frontier town setup, and the 40mm scale fits perfectly with my other pieces. The MDF is sturdy enough that I didn't worry about warping while gluing, and the versatile design means I can easily repaint it as a saloon
