The little brass plaque with the surrender date is a beautiful touch, and the porch detailing looks crisp right out of the box. I set it up on my table in about fifteen minutes and it instantly became the centerpiece of the scene.

The paint job on the porch columns is surprisingly crisp for an MDF kit. I've used it to recreate the surrender signing scene and the scale fits perfectly with other 28mm buildings.

The brick texture on the walls gives it that authentic mid-1800s feel, but what really impressed me is how cleanly the roof pieces slot together—no gaps or fiddly alignment. It’s the perfect centerpiece for any Civil War tabletop scenario.
