Japanese Pillboxes (28mm)

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these MDF pillboxes fit into my jungle terrain—the 28mm scale is spot-on for wargaming. The hex shape gives them a solid, historical feel that blends nicely with my other Pacific defenses.

I was surprised how sturdy these MDF pillboxes are right out of the box, and the hex shape fits perfectly into my defensive line. The firing slots are cleanly cut, so my 28mm figures slot in without any wobble.

The 28mm scale is dead-on for my Pacific table, and the hexagon design gives them a really distinctive silhouette that stands out from standard bunker kits. They took paint and weathering washes without any fuss, so they look properly battle-worn in under an hour.
