These gibbets are the perfect grim centerpiece for a fantasy board, and the MDF cuts are clean enough to make assembly a quick, satisfying job. Once glued and painted with a dark wash, the cage bars really sell the "final resting place" vibe for any unfortunate rogue.

The cage bars are thin but sturdy once glued, and the open frame makes painting the interior surprisingly easy. I set two up on a ruined street board and they instantly sold the grim medieval vibe.

The hinges and the little cage bars have nice detail for the price, though a few pieces needed some sanding to fit properly. Once painted up they’ll add a grim touch to any board.
