European Timber Frame Barn (20mm)

I was pleasantly surprised by how detailed the laser-cut joints are — they fit together without any glue mess. The cross-timber bracing really captures that authentic half-timbered look from the old photos.

I’d never built a Fachwerk barn before, but the 20mm scale makes the timber framing details really pop—the pre-cut slots lined up perfectly. It’s a satisfying build that captures that old-world European charm.

The laser-cut joints on this 20mm kit fit so precisely that the Fachwerk pattern snaps together like a puzzle, which made the whole barn a surprisingly relaxing weekend build. Even the little roof rafters align cleanly, and it looks sharp on my shelf next to my other models.
