Maison Durand (Terrace House) (28mm) CMYK

I spent a quiet evening assembling the narrow rooms and upper windows, and the way the roof tiles catch light really sells the modest family home feel. The tiny balcony detail adds just the right character for a terrace house setting.

The window frames are so crisp that I caught myself checking the shutters for real hinges, and the narrow upper floors give it that cramped, lived-in feel the setting calls for. Got it assembled over a rainy weekend and the fit was tight enough that I didn't need to sand a single piece.

The rooftop terraces give it a real sense of place, and the 28mm scale fits perfectly with my other kits. Assembly was straightforward, and the weathered details on the facade make it feel like it’s actually been lived in.
