The peeling wallpaper decals are incredibly realistic, and the kit captures that eerie, lived-in feel perfectly. I spent a whole evening just fitting the tiny floorboards and imagining the stories behind each room.

The creaking floorboard detail on this kit is so subtle yet perfect for setting a haunted boarding house mood. My cat knocked it off the table and it survived with just one tiny scratch, so the plastic holds up better than I expected.

It's such a treat watching the tiny creaky floorboards come together, even unassembled. The whole thing has that perfect run-down, spy-novel vibe that makes you want to invent stories for each room.
